About Ema
- My view... American politics, from outside the box
- Ema Kitsune was born in a small Oregon town and was raised by a loving, caring, kind and gentle mom. Ema has an older sibling still residing in Oregon and also has two children and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who find Ema's views, "My view... from outside the box", not only interesting and informative but occasionally funny and critical at the same time. Ema is currently living in Japan and enjoys the unique perspective of viewing America and American politics from outside the box. Ema hopes you will enjoy these views too. Ema's name, as translated from Japanese, has some interesting parallels to the "My view..." site, as well. Ema, the phonetic sound for the English letter "m", is also the Japanese name of the small wooden plaques worshipers and visitors write their prayers, thoughts and wishes on, then leave hanging at Shinto shrines for the kami (spirits or gods) to receive. Kitsune is the Japanese word for fox. Foxes are a common subject of Japanese folklore and have become closely associated with Inari, a Shinto kami and serve as his messenger. Thus, Ema's view...; small plaques, with messages, delivered by mfox.
Hey... it's worth repeating; not to worry about "butterfly typhoons", because with Trump's cuts to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the National Weather Service, what you don't know can't hurt you... because IT WILL BE TOO LATE...! So, don't say you weren't warned, as if you didn't already know what a danger Trump is to America...!
ReplyDeleteAnd, not to worry about NOAA and the NWS, as our "Li'l Donnie" has a big box of Sharpies and a bunch of new Gulf of America maps, so if you're looking for someone to draw up some weather forecasting maps, Trump's your boy, because Trump knows weather better than anybody, especially in regard to a storm's wetness from the standpoint of water...!

Where Cruelty Is the Point...!
The Trump administration has ordered 500 metric tons of emergency food aid—enough to feed 1.5 million malnourished children for a week—to be incinerated tomorrow rather than be distributed as part of its ongoing purge of USAID. The high-energy biscuits, intended for children under five living in war and disaster zones, are currently being stored in a warehouse in Dubai and were meant to be shipped out this year, but will instead go to waste due to cuts by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) effectively halting nearly all forms of foreign aid.
